To enable Google Authentication(GA):
Step 1) Log in to your HashKey Pro account and go to the “User Center” page, then select the button below Google Authentication.
Step 2) To activate GA 2FA option, users will need to download and install the Google Authentication App for your Android or iOS mobile.
Step 3) Once the GA app has been downloaded, users will need to scan the QR code and enter a number code obtained from the app.
To enable SMS Verification:
Step 1) Log in to your HashKey Pro account and go to the “User Center” page, then select the button below SMS Authentication.
Step 2) To activate SMS 2FA option, users will need to enter their phone number and click the “Send SMS” button. An SMS will be sent containing a code.
Step 3) Once a text containing the validation code, users will need to input the SMS code to activate SMS 2FA.
Once GA or SMS 2FA has been activated, the button below the two options should turn blue.
If a user wants to deactivate either the SMS or Google Authentication, this is done by unclicking the option on User Center page. (Shown in photo above)
To deactivate SMS or Google Authentication users will need to input a code. This is received by text or the Google authentication app.
Please note that it is mandatory for your HashKey Pro account to have at least one of the two 2FA options in order to withdraw digital assets, to generate an API key and Secret key. If both methods are enabled, Google Authenticator will serve as the primary default 2FA verification.
